I have a question about distributing the modified version of the Mandriva Linux. I am developing a software that helps to make a LiveCD from the Linux OS which is used every day. I'd like to publicly distribute this software with the customized Mandriva Linux Download Edition as a Demo CD. To do this, what I have to do or not to do? The "Mandriva Legal FAQ" page says that I have to remove the Mandriva's trademarks and logos. I understand it as following. 1, I have to remove the images which include the Mandriva logo such as bootsplash or wallpapers. 2, I have to rewrite /etc/mandriva-release to change the word "Mandriva Linux" displayed in some places. 3, The word "mandriva linux" is also used in the gcc package (/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-'mandriva-linux'-gnu), but this doesn't have to be removed because it is a part of the gcc package. Is this understanding right?
